Rock County Hospital was built in 1961 and is currently licensed as a critical access hospital with 24 beds. Emergency Room services are available 24/7 offering a qualified medical provider on call at all times. eEmergency, an interactive audio-visual connection with Avera in Sioux Falls, is available and allows immediate contact with multiple specialties and services.
RCH offers a variety of services including endoscopy (colonoscopy and gastroscopy), radiology services including general radiology, 3-D tomo mammography, CAT scan, ultrasound, and bone density scans, laboratory services, as well as acute and outpatient medical care. Specialty clinics include cardiology, orthopedics, nephrology, nuclear medicine and coming soon, podiatry. Mobile services include weekly MRI.
Long Term Care opened in 1991. We are a 30-bed skilled nursing facility providing a home-like atmosphere, open dining with table side food delivery, activities, beautician services, and general nursing care.
Rock County Clinic is currently staffed with 3 certified nurse practitioners providing coverage for all medical needs Monday thru Friday from 8a to 5p. Physician services are also available.
Rock County Pharmacy opened in 2012 offering pick-up, delivery, or mail service for all prescription needs as well as offering over-the-counter items Monday through Friday 8a to 5p.
Home health provides quality care in the comfort of your own home; a safe and economical setting. Nursing as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy come directly to you, following a plan of care directed by your medical provider.
Other services housed within the facility include physical and occupational therapy available for outpatient and/or in-patient services, and dental care. Available as needed are speech therapy and certified dietician consultations. Telemedicine is available to connect patients to providers/specialists throughout the State of Nebraska.
